The Cove is Newcastle's premier over 55's resort, located at Fullerton Cove, the gateway to beautiful Port Stephens between the Hunter River and Stockton Beach.
The Cove's unique attraction is Community Title, meaning you own your own home and land, and don't pay any exit fees.
The Cove offers numerous resort style facilities, including full size tennis court and bowling green, indoor heated pool and spa, bar lounge and dining areas, lounge, billiards room and library, craft room, theatrette, gym, men's shed and more!
The architecturally designed homes are spacious and offer 9ft ceilings, ducted air conditioning, full gourmet kitchens with stone bench tops and stainless steel appliances including dishwasher. All homes offer master bedrooms with ensuites and garages. The Cove is located just 15 minutes north of Newcastle, surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna between the coastline and Hunter River.
Turn off Nelson Bay Road into Fullerton Cove Road at the roundabout just north of Newcastle Golf Course.

Love living here, lovely homes, a wonderful Community, lot's of activities and new friends to make. Close to the airport, Port Stephens, Nelsons Bay and Raymond Terrace, a short ferry ride across to Newcastle eateries and attractions from nearby Stockton. Beautiful beaches. Great for singles and couples.

We downsized two and a half years ago and moved into the cove, we love living here, we call it easy living, as we have a caravan and go away a lot during the year, we just close up the house and go off on an adventure, knowing that everything is secure and safe. Love the village feel, have made lots of new friends. Our facilities are the best, bowls, tennis, darts, pool table, library, large club house with a bar and commercial kitchen, plus all of the exercise classes that you need, there is something on every day, plus lunches out with the ladies.

"We have been at The Cove Village for about 2 and half years, it's great place to live. There are lots of things to do and great people to do it with, we feel safe and secure. There are so many activities available. You can do as much as you like or as little, but remember - if you don't use it you will lose it! Mind, body and soul. There is a Mens Shed, craft room or you can relax in the club house and attend trivia nights, games nights and also social get togethers. We enjoy Aqua Aerobics, Zumba, Heartmoves, Bowls & Tennis".

I love living at the Cove, you can go for a walk on flat ground, call into the gym on your way home then take a dip in the pool if you get to hot. The grandchildren are welcome for sleep overs in the school holidays or any other time. The residents are very friendly & it is up to you if you join in the activities or not there is no pressure."
